Living almost as a recluse Malek a topographer accepts a job where he works secluded in the region of western Algeria. At the base camp, he discovers a young Chadian woman hiding on her way to Europe. She is exhausted and in constant fear and now wants to return home. Malek shields her from the immigration police after her. He abandons his post and they both take a journey towards a point where they make a decision to go their separate worlds.
