Inja

Inja is a poetic and simply told story about the relationship between a boy and his dog. It unfolds on a farm in South Africa during Apartheid, where a young Xhosa boy befreinds a dog and assumes the role of his loving master. However, their bond is broken by the intervention of a white farmer who makes the young boy partake in teaching the dog a cruel lesson. The story then moves forward in time, where in a turn of events the framer's lesson leads to his demise.
