Aicha

With two award winning films under his belt, Aïcha demonstrates yet again the poetic and visual fluency of young director Newton I. Aduaka. Two souls seek love in the night streets of Dakar. One is that of Moussa, a middle aged man, the other is of Aïcha, a mysterious young woman. In one glance across a bustling dance floor, their quest ends and a dawn of magic begins. Meanwhile a funeral is taking place.
